Air pollution exceeds safety limits in two Armenian cities

The concentration of pollutants in the air of two Armenian cities has exceeded safety limits, according to latest data released by the Statistical Committee.

The air quality monitoring revealed that air pollution in the cities of Vanadzor and Ararat exceeded safe levels 1.1 times in February.

The concentration of pollutants, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and carbon was within the accepted norms in all other settlements of Armenia.
