Police prevent protesters from entering Republic Square in Yerevan

Police prevented protesters demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation from entering Republic Square in central Yerevan.

Officers of a special police task force shorted detaining some of the demonstrators.

Opposition activists started convoy protests in various parts of Yerevan on Wednesday afternoon.
