Armenian boxer Hovhannes Bachkov crowned European champion

Armenian boxer Hovhannes Bachkov (63.5 kg) has won his third European title at the European Men's Boxing Championships held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 21 to 31 May.

An Olympic bronze medallist, Bachkov earned a unanimous 5-0 win over Lounes Hamraoui of France in the finals on Monday to win the gold medal, Armsport reports.

The athlete is also a three-time AIBA World Boxing Championships bronze medallist.
