Rains, thunderstorms expected in some parts of Armenia

Rains and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia on June 4-9, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible.

The southwestern wind gusts are 2-5 m/s. Strong winds up to 20 m/s are possible during thunderstorms.

Temperatures are set to further rise by 2-4 degrees across the country on June 4-5.

The capital Yerevan will also see rains and thunderstorms late on 4, 8 and 9 June.

No precipitation is forecast for June 5-7.
