One killed in car crash in Armenia's Tavush

One person was killed in a road traffic accident in Tavush Province of Armenia on Monday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The accident happened at around 11:50am on the part of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway near the village of Khashtarak. One fire and rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

A Toyota Highlander had collided with a VAZ-2106, as a result of which the VAZ driver died on the spot.
