Showers, thunderstorms expected in Armenia

Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Armenia’s regions from 7 to 12 June, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible in some parts.

The southwestern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds up to 23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms.

Daytime temperatures are set to gradually drop by 5-7 degrees across the country on June 7-9.

The capital Yerevan will also see showers and thunderstorms on 7-12 June.
