Temperatures to further rise in Armenia

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia from 7 to 9 July, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible.

No precipitation is predicted in the country on July 10-12.

The southeastern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds of up to 22 m/s are expected during thunderstorms. Winds of up to 20 m/s are forecast in Armavir, Aragatsotn and Kotayk foothills in the evening.

Temperatures are set to gradually increase by 5-8C across the country on July 7-12.

No precipitation is expected in the Armenian capital of Yerevan from 7 to 12 July.
