Turkey's special envoy Serdar Kilic visits Armenia border

Serdar Kilic, Turkey’s special representative for normalization talks with Armenia, and his team visited Kars Province bordering Armenia on Sunday, Ermenihaber reported.

Kilic visited the currently non-functioning checkpoint on the border with Armenia and then toured the ruins of the ancient city of Ani.

The diplomat also visited the Military Museum and the Cheese Museum in Kars.

The Turkish special envoy held a number of meetings behind closed doors in the city.
