Rescuers catch 10 snakes in Armenia in two days

Employees of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations found and caught 10 snakes in the country from July 28 to 30, the ministry said.

In particular, the snakes were spotted in the capital Yerevan, the towns of Yeghegnadzor, Artashat, Talin and Ashtarak as well as in Mastara and Zovuni villages.

The rescuers dispatched to the scene caught 4 whipsnakes, 2 red-bellied racers, 3 common vipers and 1 snake of unknown species, moving them to a safe area.
