Rescuers catch 5 snakes in Armenia in three days

Employees of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations found and caught 5 snakes in the country from 2 to 5 September, the ministry said.

In particular, the snakes were spotted in the towns of Abovyan (Kotayk Province) and Ashtarak (Aragatsotn Province), as well as in Sevkar village (Tavush Province).

The rescuers dispatched to the scene caught 1 levant blunt-nosed viper, 1 whipsnake and 3 red-bellied racers, moving them to a safe area.
