Life of Armenian soldier injured in Azeri shooting not in danger – military

The life of an Armenian soldier wounded in Azerbaijani shooting late on Wednesday is out of danger, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

The serviceman suffered injuries after Azerbaijani forces opened gunfire at Armenian combat positions in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at around 8pm, using mortars and large-caliber firearms.

“The Armenian side took countermeasures to silence the fire of the enemy,” the ministry said.
