The Armenian parliament elected Karen Andreasyan and Yeranuhi Tumanyants as new members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) at a special session on Thursday.
67 MPs voted for them at a secret ballot.
Andreasyan and Tumanyants had been nominated for the vacant posts by the ruling Civil Contract party’s parliamentary group.
The newly elected SJC members took the oath of office from the parliament podium.
