Azerbaijani troops open fire at Armenian positions

Azerbaijani forces opened fire at the Armenian military positions in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border just after midnight on Wednesday, the Defense Ministry reported.

“The enemy fire has been suppressed by the Armenian army’s retaliatory measures,” the ministry said.

No casualties were reported on the Armenian side.

The situation on the border is relatively stable at this point.
