GM Robert Hovhannisyan wins Hoogeveen Open 2022

Armenian GM Robert Hovhannisyan defeated IM Nico Zwirs of the Netherlands in the finals on Sunday to win Hoogeveen Open 2022, ChessBase India reported.

Indian GM Bharath Subramaniyam won the 3rd-4th place match against GM Evgeny Romanov of Norway to finish third.

The total prize fund of the tournament was €9500. The top three prizes were €2500, €1500 and €1000 each respectively.
