Weightlifting: Armenia's Varazdat Lalayan crowned European champion again

Armenian weightlifter Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg) has captured a gold medal at the 2022 European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships in Durres, Albania.

The athlete lifted a total of 440 kilograms on Tuesday to be crowned European champion again, the Public TV Company reported.

Lalayan earned his first European title at the 2021 Weightlifting Championships in Rovaniemi, Finland.
