A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck the Armenia-Turkey border zone on Saturday afternoon.
The quake was 14 km south-east of the city of Armavir and at a depth of 10 km, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The tremors were felt in the villages of Vardanashen, Margara and Nalbandyan of Armavir Province, measured at 2-3.
