Armenia's Davit Grigoryan makes it to World Sambo Championships finals

Armenian sambist Davit Grigoryan (88 kg) has advanced to the finals of the World Sambo Championships being held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from November 11-13.

Grigoryan defeated his opponents from France, Georgia and Azerbaijan on Saturday, the Sambo Federation of Armenia reported.

He is set to face Sergey Ryabov of Russia in the finals later on Saturday.

Another Armenian wrestler, Karlen Mahinyan (77 kg) lost his first bout and dropped out of the championships.
