Two killed in road accident in Armenian region

Two people were killed in a road traffic accident on the Sevan-Hrazdan highway in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province last night, the country's emergencies ministry reported.

The accident happened at around 4:15am. An Opel Astra G car ran off the road and crashed into a tree. The driver and one of the passengers died on the spot.

Rescuers took the other injured passenger out of the vehicle. The latter was moved to the Hrazdan Medical Center and was said to be in good condition.
