Four killed in tragic road accident in northern Armenia

Four people were killed in a horrific road traffic accident in Armenia’s northern Lori Province late on Friday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The accident happened on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway. A Nissan Pathfinder car veered off a bridge onto train tracks and was hit by a freight train.

Rescuers sent to the scene found the dead bodies of the driver and three female passengers.
