Investigators probing small plane crash in Armenian village

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a probe into the deadly small private plane crash in an Armenian village on Thursday.

The B55 aircraft with two Russian men aboard crashed in the village of Jraber in Armenia's Kotayk Province at around 2pm and caught fire.

Rescue squads found its wreckage and the charred bodies of the Russian men on board.

The victims have not yet been identified.

A preliminary investigation is underway.
