Ombudsman: Humanitarian situation in Artsakh getting worse

The humanitarian situation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) is getting worse day by day amid Azerbaijan’s blockade of the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, the country’s Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan said on Wednesday.

“Day 17 of Artsakh blockade: the right to life, health, freedom of movement, education and other fundamental rights of 120,000 people are at risk. Humanitarian situation in Artsakh is getting worse day by day,” he wrote on Facebook.
