One killed, two wounded in Armenia car crash

One man was killed, while two others were wounded in a car crash in Armenia’s Kotayk Province on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened on the Nor Geghi-Yeghvard highway at around 6:30pm and involved Opel and VAZ-21099 cars, the police said.

The crash killed the passenger of VAZ-21099, identified as Mnatsakan Hayrapetyan, 60, and wounded the two drivers, who were taken to hospital.

A preliminary probe is underway, the police added.
