Yerevan church celebrates Christmas liturgy

The Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in central Yerevan is celebrating a Divine Liturgy to mark the Feast of the Holy Nativity and Theophany of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Christmas).

The liturgy is being led by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

The Armenian Christmas celebrated annually on 6 January commemorates Christ’s birth and baptism.
