Fire breaks out in Yerevan apartment building

A fire broke out in a residential building in Yerevan, Armenia, last night.

The fire erupted in an apartment on the eight floor of the building located at 2/2 Ulnetsi Street in the Armenian capital, the Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service reported.

Two fire and rescue crews arrived to the scene.

The fire was contained at 3:33am and extinguished at 3:50am.

No casualties were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
