European Chess Championship: Six Armenian players triumph in 7th round

Seven rounds have already been played at the European Individual Chess Championship 2023 in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia.

Armenia’s Haik Martirosyan, Robert Hovhannisyan, Robert Piliposyan, Vahe Danielyan, Armen Barseghyan and Aleks Sahakyan scored victories in the seventh round on Friday, the Armenian Chess Federation said.

Gabriel Sargissian, Manuel Petrosyan, Shant Sargsyan, Mamikon Gharibyan and Emin Ohanyan played a draw.

After seven rounds, Gabriel Sargissian, Manuel Petrosyan, Shant Sargsyan, Haik Martirosyan and Robert Hovhannisyan have scored 5 points out of 7.
