Armenia’s domestic tourism grew in 2022

Armenia’s domestic tourism grew by 20.9% in 2022 from the previous year, according to data from the Statistical Committee seen by Panorama.am.

A total of 1,929,940 resident visitors were accommodated in the country’s hotels, holiday homes, sanatoriums and other tourist facilities last year.

According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), domestic tourism refers to activities of a visitor within their country of residence and outside of their home.
