Three Armenian players win in 2nd round of European Women Chess Championship
The 2nd round of the 23rd European Women Chess Championship was played on Sunday.
Mariam Mkrtchyan scored 2 points out of 2, the Armenian Chess Federation said.
Mariam Mkrtchyan, Elina Danielian and Anna Sargsyan scored victories in the second round.
Lilit Mkrtchian's game ended in a draw.
Polina Kobak and Susanna Gaboyan lost their games.
The championship, being held in Petrovac, Montenegro, from March 17-30, has brought together 140 chess players from 35 countries.
