A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck Iran early on Friday morning.
The quake was 23 km southeast of the city of Khoy and at a depth of 10 km, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The tremors were felt in Armenia’s Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Ararat and Kotayk Provinces, measured at 2-4.
