Yerevan court extends arrest of arms dealer David Galstyan

The Anti-Corruption Court in Yerevan on Wednesday extended the pre-trial arrest of arms dealer David Galstyan by one month, the Judicial Department said.

Galstyan, head of the Mosston Engineering offshore company, was arrested in September 2021 as part of a criminal probe into the purchases of faulty weaponry for the Armenian army, which also involves former Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan.

The next court hearing in Galstyan’s case is scheduled for June 7.
