Armenian fallen soldier's parents welcome baby boy

The parents of Armenian soldier Aziz Aghajanyan, who was killed during the 2020 Artsakh war, have welcomed a baby boy.

The baby named Areg was born in Yerevan’s Shengavit Medical Center four days before his fallen brother’s birthday on May 20.

The baby is doing fine and is already at home, the hospital said.

Aziz Aghajanyan would have turned 22 today.
