Catholicos Aram I insists on Artsakh's right to self-determination

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia has expressed support for the Artsakh people’s right to self-determination.

“According to the international law peoples have the right for self-determination. Therefore, the people of Artsakh have the right for self-determination on their centuries old homeland,” he said in a tweet on Friday.

He stressed the right of the Artsakh Armenians to self-determination "cannot become a bargaining chip".
