Showers, thunderstorms to continue in Armenia

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to persist in Armenia throughout the week.

Hail is possible in some parts of the country on Wednesday, the weather service says.

Strong winds of 15-20 m/s are forecast during thunderstorms.

No shifts in temperatures are likely.

Temperatures are set to reach 34C in Armenia’s Syunik Province and Artsakh on June 18-19.

Showers and thunderstorms are also likely in the capital Yerevan in the next few days.
