Golden Apricot: Dardenne brothers named guests of honor

The guests of honor at the 20th edition of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival are the two-time Palme d'Or winners at the Cannes Film Festival, living legends of European cinema Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

They will receive Golden Apricot's honorable award for their outstanding contribution to the art of film, the festival organizers announced on Thursday.

A retrospective program of their works will be held in Yerevan as well as a special rendezvous with the authors.

The Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival is scheduled for July  9-16.
