Fire erupts at former furniture plant in Armenian town

A fire broke out at the building of a former furniture manufacturing factory in Stepanavan, a town in Armenia’s Lori Province, on Saturday morning.

Two fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, the Rescue Service said.

The fire, which erupted on the third floor of the building, was contained at 11:20 a.m. and put out at 12:19 p.m.. The wooden windows and roof structures of the room were damaged by the fire.
