New subway station to be built near Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan

Yerevan’s Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan on Monday announced plans to build a new subway station near Surmalu shopping center in the Armenian capital.

"The second and third stages of designing the Ajapnyak Metro Station are underway," he told a working meeting of the Yerevan City Council.

“We will announce soon the start of a project for the construction of a new station near Surmalu,” Avinyan added.
