Ararat brandy exports to Russia continue, company says

Exports of Armenia’s Ararat brandy to Russia continue for now in line with the contract between the Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC), a subsidiary of the French company Pernod Ricard, and Russia's largest wine importer Luding Group, its CEO Ernest Khachaturyan said on Wednesday.

In late May, the company said it had not received any notice from Pernod Ricard, which had previously decided to stop exports of all its international brands to Russia and suspend cooperation with the YBC.

"Nothing has changed, deliveries are going on. All existing contracts remain in force for now, and then we will find a way out. The French producer has long been building relations both with Russia and Armenia," RIA Novosti quoted Khachaturyan as saying.
