Armenia calls for more int'l efforts to end Artsakh blockade

The Armenian Foreign Ministry urges the international community to take more efforts to end Azerbaijan’s months-long blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

“Since the establishment of an illegal checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor. Azerbaijan repeatedly, against the ICJ decisions, forbids even the movement of ICRC, including medical evacuation,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in a tweet on Tuesday.

“More int’l efforts and actions needed to lift 7-month blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh to prevent ethnic cleansing,” she stressed.
