Armenia’s Lake Sevan has experienced a year-on-year decline in water, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports.
The water level at the lake dropped by 15 cm in July 2023 against the same month of 2022, but was 26 cm higher than in January this year.
From July 10 to 16, the irrigation withdrawals from Lake Sevan totaled to 18.010 million m³.
The amount of water delivered to Lake Sevan through the Arpa-Sevan Tunnel was 1.526 million m³.
