11 patients transferred from Artsakh to Armenia

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated the transfer of 11 patients from blockade-hit Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, the Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.

The patients were transported to specialized medical facilities in Armenia on Friday, the ministry said in a statement.

9 other patients, who have completed their treatment in Armenia, are expected to return home later on Friday.

27 children are undergoing treatment in the Arevik Medical Center. 8 of them are in neonatal and intensive care.

82 adult patients, including 2 critically ill, are in the Republican Medical Center.

The people of Artsakh have been living under Azerbaijan's unlawful blockade for over eight months now.
