First-ever flights between Yerevan, Kapan operated on Monday

First-ever passenger flights between the Armenian capital of Yerevan and the town of Kapan in the country’s southern Syunik Province were operated on Monday.

The plane successfully landed at Kapan’s Syunik Airport after taking off from Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport and departed from Kapan to Yerevan according to the schedule, the Syunik administration reported.

The deputy governor of Syunik and his adviser were on board the first Kapan-Yerevan flight.
