Young Armenian boxers win 2 gold medals at European Championships

Armenia has captured 13 medals, including two gold, four silver and seven bronze, at the EUBC Schoolboys and Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships held in Maribor, Slovenia, on August 15-26.

Armenia’s Karen Zakharyan (50 kg) and Arsen Darbinyan (54 kg) earned gold medals after beating their Irish and Romanian opponents, respectively, in the finals on Friday, the Armenian Boxing Federation said.
