Seven wounded, including baby, in car crash in Armenia

Seven people, including children and a newborn baby, were injured in a car crash in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province late on Friday.

The Rescue Service said that the accident happened on Gavar-Sevan highway near the village of Lchap  and involved a Mercedes-Benz and a Kia.

The injured, who had been taken to hospital before the arrival of rescuers, were in moderate condition. 

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
