Armenian soldier honored with posthumous award

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a decree to posthumously award fallen soldier Vanik Ghazaryan with a Medal for Combat Service, the presidential office said on Saturday.

The serviceman was fatally wounded after Azerbaijani forces opened fire on Armenian combat outposts near the village of Akhpradzor on 22 August.
