Bread production drops in Armenia

Armenia saw a decline in bread production volumes in the first seven months of this year, official statistics reveal.

Some 128 tons of bread were made in the country in January-July 2023, down by 2․1% from a year ago, according to the latest data from the Statistical Committee seen by Panorama.am.

Meanwhile, flour production in Armenia rose by 3․1% to nearly 90 tons in the seven months of this year.

Pasta and cereal production also increased by 1․1% and 2․6%, respectively.
