Azerbaijan shells Armenian border posts

Azerbaijani troops continue shelling the Armenian outposts near Sotk, a border village in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province, the Defense Ministry said on Friday morning.

The ministry reported intense shelling of the Armenian combat positions by Azeri forces starting from 7:50am Friday.

“The Azerbaijani armed forces are also using mortars against the Sotk positions,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement, promising to make an additional report on the development of the situation.
