MP: Situation remains extremely serious in Artsakh

The situation remains extremely dire in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the wake of Azerbaijan’s major military offensive, says opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan.

In a social media post on Friday, he stated the representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan exchanged their views at the talks held in the town of Yevlakh on Thursday, but the issues remained unresolved.

“In the current difficult situation, the state system and institutions of Artsakh are functioning with serious disruptions, as it is not just a post-war situation,” he wrote.

“The reckless policies of the Armenian authorities and Azerbaijani aggressive actions have put the Artsakh people in trouble, severely limiting their possibilities of movement and action.

“In general, amid the threats, pressure and risk of use of force from Azerbaijan, the system in Artsakh is on the verge of collapse, with all the ensuing consequences,” Abrahamyan added.
