Armenia's Malkhas Amoyan wins bronze at World Wrestling Championships

Malkhas Amoyan of Armenia has captured a bronze medal at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

He defeated Kazakhstan’s Demeu Zhadrayev 9-7 in the 77 kg fight for bronze on Friday, the Armenian Wrestling Federation said.

Amoyan, a world and European champion, qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
