First helicopter carrying Artsakh blast victims lands in Armenia

The first helicopter carrying victims of a fuel depot blast in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has landed in Sisian, a town in Armenia’s Syunik Province, health authorities say.

The patients will be moved to hospitals in Yerevan for treatment, the Health Ministry reported.

At least 20 people were killed and over 290 others injured in the powerful explosion at the facility near Stepanakert on Monday evening.
