EU monitors talk to shepherd in Armenian border village

EU monitors regularly talk to Armenian border residents to report to Brussels how the conflict affects their day-to-day life, the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA) said on Thursday.

"As part of human security patrols, EUMA monitors regularly talk to local population, such as a shepherd from Navur village, to report to Brussels how the conflict affects their day-to-day life," the mission said in a post on X.

"EUMA contributes to human security of local population at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border areas," it added.

Navur is a border village in Armenia's Tavush Province.
