Yerevan court extends Grigory Khachaturov's arrest

The Anti-Corruption Court in Yerevan on Thursday extended the pre-trial detention of Major-General Grigory Khachaturov for two more months, the judicial authorities reported.

The next court hearing in his case has been scheduled for October 18.

Khachaturov, a former chief of the Armenian military’s General Staff, has been charged with money laundering through real estate. He was arrested on March 16.
